About Happy House Woodworking
(a small shop with big personality)
At Happy House Woodworking, we make handcrafted cutting boards, charcuterie boards, lathe-turned rings, and housewarming gifts—with just the right mix of sarcasm and sawdust.
Life’s too short for boring wood.
Who We Are
Jeremy’s the guy with 20+ years of electrical engineering experience and an unnatural love for calipers.
Christy’s a software engineer by day, lathe queen by night.
Together, we run a cozy little shop that turns hardwood into heartfelt (and occasionally hilarious) gifts.
We work out of our garage, with the dog supervising and coffee fueling our late-night glue-ups.
What We Believe
We’re not a big-box store—and we don’t want to be.
Every piece we make is custom, quirky, and full of character. Keeping things small means we can give each customer real attention, real communication, and work that actually feels personal.
When you hear from us, it’s not a system. It’s one of us.
What We Make
Cutting Boards
Too pretty to use. But you should anyway.
Charcuterie Boards
Built to quietly steal the show at wine night.
Lathe Work
Rings, bowls, and anything that benefits from spinning really fast.
Resin Projects
Because sometimes wood needs a little drama.
Sign Restoration
Old pieces deserve better than being thrown away.
Custom Builds
If it can be made out of wood, we’ll figure it out.
Why We Lean Into the Sarcasm
The world is full of the same serious sales pitches—and who needs another?
We’re all about crafting quality items, but we’d rather not take ourselves too seriously in the process. Humor keeps things human, memorable, and honestly just more fun.
We want people to enjoy what they’re buying, not just check a box.

First Failure
Cutting board exploded in the planer because glue wasn’t dry.
We respected the planer a lot more after that.
Lucy, The Shop Dog
Every shop needs quality control. Ours just happens to have four legs.
Lucy supervises projects, monitors snack distribution, and ensures morale stays high at all times.
Want Something Custom?
Good. That’s kind of our whole thing.
Tell us what you’re thinking—we’ll figure out how to make it real.
