Welcome to Happy House Woodworking, where a husband and wife duo, miraculously still married after over two decades, have decided to turn their woodworking hobby into a business. Because why not add some excitement to marital bliss, right? Our creations are more than just wood and nails; they’re the product of countless hours of bickering over designs and who gets the last sanding block. Join us on our journey of crafting handcrafted pieces that reflect our quirky charm and undeniable skill (despite the occasional marital debate).
At our company, we specialize in crafting the cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and other housewarming essentials you didn’t realize you needed. The husband? He’s the one who handles all the heavy machinery—because, let’s be real, he doesn’t quite trust the wife with the power tools (even though she’s quite good at it!). Meanwhile, she’s busy working her magic on the lathe, turning wood into rings and bowls like it’s a walk in the park. Together, we create all those must-have items that’ll make your home feel just a little more complete.
Oh, we know having an electrical engineer and a web developer at the helm makes for the most traditional woodworking experience. We’re sure all of our tech expertise really comes in handy when we’re, you know, sanding a piece of wood. But hey, we pour our heart and soul into every project we make.
At Happy House Woodworking, we lean into sarcasm as a way to keep things lighthearted and memorable. After all, the world is full of the same serious sales pitches—and who needs another? We’re all about crafting quality items, but we’d rather not take ourselves too seriously in the process. Using a sarcastic tone helps us connect with people who appreciate humor, and it adds personality to our work. We’re here to make things fun, to remind everyone that even the finest woodworking projects can come with a good laugh, and that crafting is meant to be enjoyed!

CO2 car made in shop class in the 8th grade. Used out of the box thinking and the body style was comparable to what a Tesla looks like today. It was slow as s*$t…but it looked good.

My first patchwork cutting board. I didn’t let the glue dry enough. We sent it throught the planer and it came shooting out, in small projectile pieces, in all directions. We both were jumpy around the planer for a bit after that.
